Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg will take on each other in the key clash of the Bundesliga matchday 14 on Sunday. The kick-off is at 15:30 CET.

The hosts have won two and lost on game in all competitions since replacing Lucien Favre with interim head coach Edin Terzic in the Westfalenstadion dugout last month and thus you hardly say that Borussia's form has improved significantly of late. What's more, BVB have been without their key striker Erling Haaland for the past few weeks. With the Norwegian goal machine back in training, Dortmund currently sit in 5th in the standings with 22 points.

Wolfsburg, meanwhile, have been much more consistent this season so far. In fact, Oliver Glasner's men have lost just one of their 13 league matches this term. Nevertheless, the visitors are set to be without Maximilian Arnold, Maximilian Philipp, Maxence Lacroix, Jerome Roussillon and Xaver Schlager on the weekend as they all have been in quarantine over the festive period.

Borussia, meanwhile, will miss out on Thorgan Hazard and Marcel Schmelzer in this one.

Prediction

Even though Wolfsburg are now two points ahead of Terzic's side in the Bundesliga table, it's Dortmund who look favourites to win on Saturday, considering all the Covid-absentees in Glasner's squad.
