Hertha Berlin will welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Olympiastadion in the Bundesliga matchday 17 on Saturday. The kick-off is at 19:30 CEST.

It have been all but miserable past few weeks for Hertha as Tayfun Korkut's men have only won once in their last seven matches in the German top flight, including a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Mainz on Tuesday. As a result, the Old Lady will play hosts to Dortmund sitting in the 14th place in the table with 18 points.

Borussia, for their part, managed to bounce back from back-to-back winless encounters with Bayern Munich (2-3) and Bochum (1-1) in Wednesday's clash with Greuther Furth. It were Erling Haaland's brace and Donyell Malen's strike which secured all three points for BVB in mid-week. Now, second-placed Marco Rose's side will be looking to stay within six points of Bayern who lead the standings with 40 points, at the time of writing.

While Rune Jarstein, Peter Pekarik, Marton Dardai and Lukas Klunter remain unavailable for the hosts with long-term injuries, Suat Serdar and Stevan Jovetic are unlikely to feature on the weekend after suffering minor injuries against Mainz. Manuel Akanji, Youssoufa Moukoko and Giovanni Reyna, meanwhile, won't help the visitors in Berlin as they continue their spell on the sidelines while Thorgan Hazard is suspended for this one.

Tuesday's defeat at the Mewa Arena shows that little has realy changed at Hertha since the appointmet of Korkut in charge of the club in late November. The Old Lady continue to struggle under the new boss and it doesn't seem likely that they could challenge BVB on Saturday, especially with they best goalscorer Jovetic on the sidelines. Dortmund, in turn, have scored 14 goals since Haaland's injury return on November 27 and are likely to take all three points this time around.
