Leipzig, for their part, have been in outstanding form this term so far. Julian Nagelsmann's side are yet to lose a single game this season, winning six out of their seven matches and drawing the other one. The Bundesliga outfit will head into Wednesday's CL encounter on the back of a 2-1 victory over Hertha Berlin at the weekend that they claimed after beating Istanbul Basaksehir 2-0 in the competition's opener last Tuesday.

Eric Bailly, Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones are the only injury absentees in United's squad. Leipzig, in turn, will be without Marcel Halstenberg, Lukas Klostermann, Nordi Mukiele, Konrad Laimer, Amadou Haidara and Tyler Adams at Old Trafford.
