It was Simon Kjaer's last-gasp header that cancelled Amad Diallo's opener in the first leg encounter between United and Milan at Old Trafford last week and thus the Rossoneri are now in prime position to reach the EL quarter-finals with a goal to their name at the away turf. Stefano Pioli's men, however, lost 1-0 to Napoli in the Serie A over the weekend so we wouldn't be so sure about Milan's current form.

The Red Devils, in turn, claimed a narrow victory over West Ham on Sunday to extend their unbeaten streak across all competitions to 13 matches on the bounce. What's more, Edinson Cavani, Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek have all made the travelling squad after missing the first leg through injuries. Anthony Martial, however, remains on the sidelines with a thigh issue.

Milan have also welcomed one of their key players back to the squad ahead of the return fixture as former United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been given the green light to feature on Thursday after overcoming a thigh injury.

Prediction

With Ibrahimovic up and running again we do expect Milan to find the back of the net against United this time around as well as in their last week's meeting. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, on the contrary, remain hot favourites to make it to the next stage and win the 2020/21 Europa League trophy.
