Leeds and Arsenal will return to the PL action after this month's international break in the weekend's head-to-head meeting at Elland Road. Both sides were embarrased in their latest league games as Marcelo Bielsa's men suffered a 4-1 defeat at Crystal Palace while Mikel Arteta's side were beaten 3-0 at home by Aston Villa.

Pablo Mari, Reiss Nelson, Calum Chambers and Gabriel Martinelli all remain on the sidelines for the Gunners with Mohamed Elneny also out after testing positive for Covid-19. Arsenal's new boy Thomas Partey is also doubtful through a thigh issue.

The Whites, for their part, will be without Rodrigo who is self-isolating due to coronavirus restrictions. Leeds' key midfielder Kalvin Phillips, in turn, is expected to feature on the weekend as he's closing in on a full recovery from a shoulder injury.

Prediction

With Patrick Bamford scoring seven goals in eight league games this season so far, Leeds are very likely to find the back of the net against the Gunners, who have managed to keep only two clean sheets in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign. The likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Willian and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, on the other hand, each has enough quality to expose the opposition's leaky defence, which conceded no less than eight goals in their last two league outings.
