The Red Devils have arguably lost any chance to win the 2020/21 PL title being 14 points behind league leaders Manchester City right now. Even though United have a game in hand over City, it looks like Pep Guardiola's men have already secured this season's Premier League crown. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, who remain unbeaten in their last nine league games, will have to win their remaining league matches this term to finish in the top four with Leicester and Chelsea breathing down their necks in third and fourth respectively. 

Brighton, for their part, could realistically continue in the Championship next season as Graham Potter's side are now only six points above the relegation zone. The Seagulls, however, managed to register back-to-back victories over Southampton and Newcastle prior to their trip to Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial is the only confirmed injury absentee in the hosts' squad while the likes of Mason Greenwood, Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford all remain doubtful through respective injury woes. Aaron Connolly, Solly March, Adam Webster and Tariq Lamptey, in turn, are set to miss their side's voyage to Manchester for the same reason.

Well, it does look like Brighton have a zero chance of beating United this time around but don't forget about their previous head-to-head meeting in the league. The Red Devils claimed a 3-2 victory over Potter's men in September only thanks to a last-gasp penalty strike from Bruno Fernandes. Moreover, United will host Brighton on the back of a 3-1 loss to Leicester in the FA Cup quarter-final last month. We'd say that you should expect goals at both ends on Sunday as well.
