The Red Devils managed to claim all three points at Brighton last weekend but with a help of a last-gasp penalty (3-2). Even though United beat Brighton 3-0 in the EFL Cup in midweek, the Manchester giants are certainly far from their best form right now.

Tottenham, in turn, also started their Premier League campaign with a 0-1 loss to Everton. That painful defeat was followed by a 5-2 victory over So'ton and a rather unfortunate 1-1 draw with Newcastle last Sunday. Jose Mourinho has every right to blame the FA and UEFA for his side's schedule as Spurs have already played no less than seven games in all competitions, including the PL, the EFL Cup and the Europa League, since September 13. The North London club have only two days to prepare for their trip to Manchester after securing their place in the EL group stage on Thursday.

Prediction

The Red Devils are yet to find their last season's form after the current campaign's opening month. Mourinho, for his part, will be desperate to get revenge on his former side for last term's 2-1 loss at Old Trafford. Spurs' busy schedule, however, is unlikely to do them a favor.
