Tottenham kick off their run in the new Premier League campaign in a home tie with Everton on Sunday at 16:30 BST.

Both sides will be hoping to start the new season with a victory after dissapoting performances in the 2019/20 PL campaign. Spurs finished in 6th last term while the Toffees ended up in 12th final position but the clubs' main objective remains unchanged - the Premier League top-four finish.

Everton have done a good job in the current transfer window as they signed Allan from Napoli, James Rodriguez from Real Madrid and Abdoulaye Doucoure from Watford over the last week. Tottenham have also added Matt Doherty from Wolves and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from So'ton to their ranks lately. What's more, Giovani Lo Celso completed his permanent move from Betis after spending the previous season on loan at North London.

Prediction

It's hard to expect Everton's new signings to shine right from the start as they need some time to get used to the new teammates. Even though the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison have the potential to cause some problems for Tottenham's back four, we predict Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min to make the difference for Jose Mourinho's side on the weekend.
