The second edition of the 2021/22 Old Firm Derby is set to take place at the Celtic Park in around 24 hours with both sides coming into this encounter in all but perfect form. David Turnbull, Karamoko Dembele, Kyogo Furuhashi and Albian Ajeti will not feature for Ange Postecoglou's side this time around through an injury while Nnamdi Ofoborh, Filip Helander, Steven Davis, Ianis Hagi and Leon Balogun will miss Rangers' trip across the Glasgow for the same reason. Alfredo Morelos, in turn, is unavailable for the visitors due to his international duties.

Prediction

It's been a while since Celtic claimed their last victory in the Old Firm Derby as the Gers remain unbeaten against the Celts in seven games since 2019, including a 1-0 win in the reverse league fixture in August. On the other hand, it was Steven Gerrard who led Rangers in their latest clash with the Celts, so it remains to be seen if Van Bronckhorst manages to continue the current positive trend for his old-new club. What we do expect from the upcoming fixture is goals at both ends at Parkhead, given both sides' respective performaces of late.
